Now or Never

Now or Never is a home for radical thinking by and for non-hierarchical and anti-authoritarian climate-activists. It aims

1. to publish timely and well thought-out opinion-pieces on the state of the movement that has developed under and around the Climate Camp banner, and the successes and failures of its actions. (However, personal attacks on named or easily-identifiable individuals will not be published.)
2. to publish historically- and politically-informed articles on climate change and the responses to it by different states, companies and capitalist sectors (insurance, aviation, energy, agribusiness etc.) and civil society.
3. to express itself in a lively and accessible manner.
4. always to try to address the potential silences in its own analysis, especially those around race, class, gender and anthropocentrism (the belief that only humans matter).
5. be a resource for the sharing of skills among editors, contributors and readers.

Not every article can or will do all of these: but Now or Never as a whole can and will try to. Sometimes we will fail – but we will always strive.

Unless otherwise stated, we will assume that anything sent to us is intended for publication.

Unless otherwise requested by the author(s), all work will be published under a Creative Commons (attribution, share-alike) license. This means that anyone is free to publish and distribute the work, and to remix, tweak, and build upon the work, even for commercial reasons, as long as the author is credited and the new creations are licensed under identical terms.
